Essa boquilha foi desenvolvida com todas as características solicitadas pelo Prof.Gerson Galante. Ele usava uma boquilha Meyer americana há 24 anos . Gerson Galante passou um final de semana inteiro em minha casa e juntos acertamos a sonoridade da boquilha com as características que ele escolheu, à qual funciona super bem, com as palhetas de bambú e a sintética Ivan Meyer, como poderão ver no vídeo abaixo.
Esta boquilha tem como características o som encorpado sem perder os brilhos, agudos intensos e graves profundos. Com a mudança da velocidade do ar você consegue várias sonoridades.

The Gerson Galante Signature Mouthpiece by Ivan Meyer was developed specifically to deliver his iconic sound: an intense low register, full middle register, brilliant high register, even balance throughout the entire saxophone range, clear execution of rapid notes, and powerful sound projection. It comes in 3 models: GG-S (Standard), GG-K (Kids), and GG-R (Restorative). Anton Denner was the inspiration behind the creation of the GG-R model. A highly accomplished professional woodwind doubler, Anton lost the ability to play reeds after battling Covid-19. The GG-R model allows for playing with less resistence and effort (similar to that of a flute or recorder), while still delivering a full and beautiful timbre. Despite experimenting with many other well-known brands of mouthpieces and reeds, none of them worked for Anton. The GG-R Mouthpiece has restored Anton’s ability to play the saxophone. Each mouthpiece is 100% hand-crafted by artesan Ivan Meyer in São Paulo, Brasil. Every piece is uniquely hand-carved as a functional work of art.
